Service 04

Custom software & React

Web applications, internal tools, APIs and the unglamorous systems a company actually runs on. Built when the off-the-shelf option would cost more in workarounds than the software costs to write.

Come to us when

A critical process runs on a spreadsheet that one person understands.

The available products all fit badly, and the gap is being covered by people.

Your data is correct in three systems and different in each of them.

You have a portal, dashboard or internal tool that needs to be genuinely good to use.

An existing React codebase has become slow to change.

What that looks like

Web applications

React and Next.js front ends with TypeScript throughout, built to be fast on the devices your people actually use.

Internal tools

The admin panels, approval flows and operational screens that never get prioritised and then quietly run the company.

APIs and services

Node and TypeScript services with real error handling, real logging and a schema someone else can read.

Integration and automation

Making systems that were never designed to meet exchange data reliably, on a schedule, without a person copying it.

What you get

01

Code written to be read, because you will own it longer than we work on it.

02

Tests where they earn their keep and not as decoration.

03

A running deployment pipeline, not a zip file.

FAQ

When is custom software the wrong answer?

Most of the time. If a standard product covers eighty per cent and the rest is preference, buy the product. We are useful in the cases where the remaining twenty per cent is the actual business.

Why React and TypeScript?

Because you will need to hire for it. A stack that a new developer can join is worth more than a slightly more elegant one that only we can maintain.

Can you connect it to our ERP?

That is one of the reasons to bring us in. Integration with Business Central, Dynamics NAV or Odoo is normal work here rather than a special case.

Do you take over existing codebases?

Yes. We start with a short audit and a plan that puts the risky parts first, so improvement starts before any rewrite is even discussed.

Have a project, or just a question?

Tell us what you are trying to build. The first conversation is just a conversation.
